There's a nice little area right behind the Rock
Yes. Several just past the rock and just before you assend. No water
There is a primitive campsite out there, not sure what it was called though.
If you stay on the trail past Preacher's Rock, and hike to the summit before the trail starts downhill, you can go off the trail to the right. Up the the wooded ridge where you can see the summit, there's a flat area you can camp at. About 7 miles from the trailhead you'll reach a side trail with a sign for Woods Hole shelter. Bear boxes, food bag hangers, campsites and the shelter are there. There's also a good decent spring to filter water.
