Beautiful spot about 1 mile in from Woodys Gap. A rough mile climb but well worth it. The view was the best one we had all the way to Neals Gap.

Yes. It is well mark and easy to follow. It gets a lot of use, which makes the trail very visible.

The trail doesn't close. But it wouldn't be safe to hike in the night time as there is wildlife. Hope that help
