I was hiding out from Hurricane Ian at this wonderful campground. Because I didn’t know how long I would be there as hurricanes are never totally predictable I couldn’t tell campground ownership how long I would be there. No problem…they were so nice they told me they would block a site so that nobody else could book it and I could stay as long as needed. That was incredibly nice of them (where they might even lose money). Besides ownership being so nice I have to say that they are also doing a great job of making constant improvements to this campground. Ownership told me they purchased it 5 years ago. It is evident that they really care. One example is the obvious money they poured into their WiFi infrastructure. It’s very few campgrounds that have WiFi that is actually usable for remote workers such as myself. This is the type of campground that was typically found in years past…family owned (not owned by a corporation that only seems to care about shareholders). It’s close to Helen, Ga. and all that Bavarian themed town offers. So, I highly recommend this gem of a campground (especially for long time campers who yearn for the fantastic campgrounds we used to take for granted in years past).

We stayed the weekend in a yurt, this was our first time in a yurt. My family and I had a blast at Jenny's Creek, we will definitely be returning for vacations. The owners and staff were really friendly and welcoming, they aided us with all of our questions and needs. Clean bathrooms, clean campground, the yurt was clean, the game room was filled of fun things to do. We played on the playground and all around had a great weekend. thank you! I wish I could have taken pics, the kids kept me busy.

Tents are better off in the back away from the pond. We really enjoyed our stay there in tents.
Etowah River Campground
No we do not offer cabins but we do have something similar, called Yurts. They are $100 a night plus tax.
We invite you to give us a call to discuss monthly rates as they do vary slightly by number and site type. Also the long term rates and policy will be changing as of the first of the year.

Hello, we do have 2 Yurts. They do book up fast and as of now we only have 1 weekend available in the Month of October or during the week days we are more open if your flexible on dates. They run $90 a night plus tax, and we require a 2 nights stay. If Military we offer a 15% discount. They sleep 6. All custom log cabin furniture, and wood floors. Queen size bed, and bunk (with pull out futon at the bottom) twin on the top. table indoors with 2 chairs to sit at. Heating and air conditioned with a refrigerator and microwave, ceiling fan above with dome. Large outdoor deck with pic-nic table and two Adirondack chairs, parking gravel pad for two vehicles and fire ring area. I'm sorry we do not allow year round camping we offer monthly rentals up to a 3 month stay.

We do not have campers for rent at this time, but will soon have Yurts for rent. The should be ready in December.
