Where is the take out point and how far of a paddle is it. I'm not familiar with the area.

Like ray said there are the shoals like 3 Miles up river and you can definitely take your kayak up the shoals and keep going it's a little tricky tho but I've done it plenty of times mainly bc the ride back down the shoals is really fun

Ignore earlier post I gave the wrong information. If you put in at this ramp and go down river you can only go maybe a mile cause you will run into the Pelzer dam . If you put in and go up the river you can go maybe 3 miles or so and you'll run into a shoal from there you have to turn around and come back .

Thank you for answering. I'm looking for about 5-7 miles in the general area. I'll look further up or down stream.
