You can catch them but prepare to get dirty
We got them a couple years ago from Bait store in St. Mary's. Check with Bait store on JI. Husband caught sheephead on frozen shrimp.
On the beaches
Yep! People usually catch them themselves. On hwy 303 after you pass Blythe Island going towards 82 undoubtedly is a good place. People are always out there getting them at low tide.
