We have been told that my Father needs a $100,000 down payment to be considered for Waverly Gardens. Why is it so hard to find out the expenses necessary to accommodate my Father.

It states in the yearly magazine that is published for Senior Living they accept Elderly Waiver and/or Medical Asst. Yet when I called they say it is all Private Pay. Could anyone explain that?

My grandmother lives there, pretty sure they only keep the 100,000 if he ends up living there. And if anything happened to him I think they give it back to the family but I can't remember for sure.
