Yeah they are supposed to open up new lines anytime there are 4 or more customers waiting in line. The problem generally seems to be that you are subject to sub-par management. The manager isn't paying attention to what is going on. In the Huntsville Alabama area you would be amazed at how much difference there is between stores. In certain stores in the not so wealthy side of town you can almost expect to have 4 to 10 people ahead of you and you can see that there are employees and managers standing around doing absolutely nothing but talking. You can go to a wealthy area and if there are 2 or 3 people standing in all of the lines and the management will immediately open extra lines and I have even witnessed managers and assistant managers get every line possible open and have honestly seen the management open lines up and actually do the job of a cashier's position, and run a line until all of the customers are taken care of. That is what a manager should do. It's rather sad honesty
Its quicker than Walmart lines
I compare the lines at Walmart to the lines at Disneyworld🙁
Trust me it's not just that Wal-Mart. Lately it has been Wal-Mart in Moulton as well. Sounds like they may need more employees Or maybe it's like our(Moulton) store and their doing upgrades. They are putting in New self-checkout lanes an it has been very crowded in the lines that are open. Hopefully that will change soon. Maybe Madison will figure it out as well.
