We did it a small aluminum boat with a trolling motor, but there was places where we were walking it through shallows. A regular boat would not make it.
this river is really shallow, so the best option is kayaking or canoeing. I can't see a boat with a motor being able to make it down the Harpeth. Sometimes during the year, it's so shallow that you have to get out of your canoe and walk to the next deep point.
