Hi there! We operate on the beach at Lake Absegami in Bass River State Forest. We don't offer pick up and drop off services, but you are more than welcome to come rent from us, launching from and returning to the beach!

Is it possible to paddle upstream from Lake Absegami on either Tommy's Branch or the East Branch of the Bass River?

You would do more climbing, dragging, and walking than paddling. Many spots are just swampy and not really navigable by kayak.
