a week before we were to our trip was booked with another company, we were cancelled for weather. Hocking Hills Canoe Livery squeezed us in and I am glad the other company cancelled because the trip was great. we took the Labrador in the canoe, and although it was end of season we really enjoyed. We will use Hocking Hills Canoe Livery from now on, great job.

If you have a bigger party going, then yes. I would make reservations. But if it's just a couple people then most likely you'll be fine to just go.
Yes I have seen people bring their dogs I've been going to this livery for years. You can also bring a cooler people drink alcohol no problem just want to be discreet and keep an eye on the coast lines and dispose of your cans or bottles properly.
We do not transport personal boats. There are some public access spots in the area you are welcome to use.

A canoe can be a little tricky by yourself so I would go with a kayak
Last I saw, they did not allow tubing here.
Just like any other canoe trip, there's always going to be low spots. We did 5 miles and only got stuck once. Water level was low too.
We paid 50 dollars for a 2.5hr tour. We were able to keep the canoe until 6 afterwards. There were 4 of us on board; 2 adults and 2 children.

Yes, you may bring your dog in a canoe with you. We just ask that your dog be on a leash while in common areas as other guests.
There currently not transporting personal kayaks and theres no lock up places on site.

Our canoe livery runs on the Hocking River where you wouldn’t be able to use a motor. You can use a motor on Lake Logan but there is a limit of 9.9 hp.
Even in the case that is not permitted, I do not recommend alcohol while you are in the water. The canoe or kayak trip it is good enough to enjoy every moment.
Our last day of our canoe and kayak season was October 14. We do still rent cabins and campsites thru the off season. If you don’t reach someone when you call, please leave a message and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.

The Trip we took included kayak, clean life jacket, and paddles. It was a beautiful journey!
