This was not my first time here. My first was an okay experience. Due to little to no water, I knew what I was getting myself into. I thought I’d give it another try after some rainfall. My second time around left me dissatisfied. There was no reason for me and my party to wait TWO hours to go out into the water without notice. There were signs notifying of the last drop off being 1pm. We had been waiting since 12:45pm and did not get dropped off until after 2:30pm. Multiple parties who had arrived AFTER us were able to be dropped off before hand, their reasoning being “there are only two drivers and a certain amount of boats available”. I had four people in my party and they had let a family of ten go before us. Your excuse is that you’re not fully staffed, but why are you continuously taking in parties and giving people a certain timespan. I understand that there are multiple businesses dropping off at the same point, but you should know your capacity of person to boat ratio, as well as the amount of staff members you have available. I do fully appreciate the two staff members that I did encounter that day. If I do recall, their names were Sabrina and Scott. They did accommodate to my understanding to the best of their ability. I did communicate how I was not frustrated at them, but at the situation itself. Long story short, this disorganized family owned business is more for the money than the love of the recreation itself. I wish to never encounter this issue again.

I've been to Foggy Bottom several times over the last few years. All I got to say is that kayaking and canoeing is to have fun and the young adults who work here at the desk or loading and unloading it are hard workers. Don't expect top notch professionalism at a place meant for fun or a luxury van to transport wet and dirty people. When you come during a rush or large group of people, expect a wait and don't complain. If you want to be serviced faster get there at 8-9am when they open and you'll be on the water pretty quick as compared when you arrive at 11am. Thanks for your hard work, we've had a great time for my birthday!

Great with Groups! Pat and her team were a DREAM to work with for our recent corporate teambuilding social to Foggy Bottom. Very responsive and helpful. Got us all on the water very quickly. The staff here work very hard, lugging around those boats in the heat of the summer is HARD WORK. Thank you Foggy Bottom, we will be back!

I mean what are you asking? Canoe rentals? Tubes? Rafts? Tours? And what is a w2 ?
We did it a small aluminum boat with a trolling motor, but there was places where we were walking it through shallows. A regular boat would not make it.
After tax it's like $43. Maybe off a dollar or two, I went last month
What does that mean exactly...use them for transport if brought? So you can bring tubes and float the river or no?
Unfortunately I can't and kayaks are very hard to find right now in a couple manufacturers are struggling I'm sorry wish I could help
Yes just cAll ahead
On Facebook they are saying no reservations needed due to low volume of boaters
No, but there should be spots if you research camping in Kingston Springs
Yes the do all are welcome you will have a greatbtime
It’s actually $41, and they will not honor your reservations, fyi.
We did this trip last week. We put in about 130 and we were out of the water by 4: 30. We stopped several times to swim and Wade, so I think you could probably make the trip in about 2 hours.
