A must tour while in Nashville!
Worth it, but make sure Lotz house is open, otherwise it feels less worth it. Still is worth it, but you know
Combo tickets are worth it. It saves money and you don't have to use them in one day. We did part on Monday and the last one on Friday
Great place to learn about the history of our nation. The combination tickets are the best deal which let you visit all the attractions in the area. Have fun learning and revisiting the past.
Fantastic place worth the time and money.
Absolutely worth the time and money. Get the combination ticket so you can tour the Carnton house as well. While there (at Carnton) also visit the McGovock Confederate cemetery. After visiting the Carter house go south on the Columbia Pike approximately a mile and a half and visit Winstead Hill (Hoods HQ during the battle). There are various monuments, informational plaques etc. It is maintained by a local chapter of the Sons of Confederate Veterans. It's free to visit but a donation I feel is well warranted.
Great tour. I first visited in 1980 and it has changed dramatically. They have worked hard to preserve historical accuracy and to communicate what is was like for the local citizenry.
Worth it
