The parking lot was purchased and there was a plan for it to be developed- retail, parking, and probably very expensive condos- however, that plan is on ice following the pandemic and I do not know as of today [June 2022] what happens next.
The lot was free until recently. The parking lot is not Bug Theatre Property.
