do they have many puppies

It depends. Call or check the website but the older dogs are the ones who need a home. The longer a pet is in a shelter and the older they are the worse their life in the shelter is. Puppies get adopted immediately if they ever have them but the older dogs are sweethearts and better trained. So if they don't have puppies, keep an open mind and inquire about the other animals they have!
