We took the train ride yesterday and we were seated in the dining car on hard wooden chairs for the entire trip. Our view from our window was not exciting to and fro. Would have been nice if the staff would have switched seating during the stopover at Frostburg so we could have seen the other side returning. The people behind us were loudly talking and the speaker wasn't audible so we never had a chance to hear the narrator informing us of details during the trip. Staff was nice except the conductor would only talk to a few people in the car and not to all. This trip was okay but we thought it could have been much better.
I'm not sure the days now is but I think it's well worth the trip
Personally, i enjoyed my time. I did the moon shine tour and had a good time. The food on the train was very fresh and tasty. I thought it was worth it at keast once. Why ot do it once and have your own opinion
I know it is just running on Saturday and Sunday right now
One of the best Scenic Railroads around. We've been on it a few times and have never been disappointed.
I kind of have to disagree with them I've been on that train ride three different times and I always enjoy that ride
