You are asking the wrong question. You have that dog which is family and a lifetime commitment. Contact dog trainers and work with them to make it a cohesive situayion. Obviously you had that dog first and should be your main concern. A shelter is no place to dump your dog. Work it out it will not take long. Possibly 1 time with a trainer. And not an expensive. Please I beg you Shelters are horific to any home lived dog. Pleade try to.work it out. PLEASE
This shelter is a no kill shelter unless the dog or cat is terminally ill and will never recover. Don't make up lies about this shelter. It is the cleanest shelter i have ever seen. Lots of empty kennels which means their adoption rate is good. I would recc this shelter when looking for a pet. I adopted an Akita there. She is beautiful. Knows basic commands and fit right into our family.
