The breakfast is very limited to fruit, croissants and similar pastries, juice and coffee. At least when I visited in March.
Agree with Mr. Haaf. It's a lite continental style breakfast. If you want something more substantial, there are several restaurants/Delis close by that serve heavier fare. Right up Lexington Ave, on the same side of the street as the Lex, is another hotel that serves a full breakfast. I have eaten there and it was very good. I hope this helps.
