It's 90 days. After that the city will give your caseworker the voucher and the case worker will then give it to you. Everyone gets a voucher but not all vouchers are the same. It's according to your income and family dynamics. Even single people receive vouchers. But you have to have an open active P.A. case (public assistance) UPDATE: Its 30 days now and you have to be eligible. Make sure you have an open P.A. case!! They have different programs to fit you and your family's needs. Get in contact with your caseworker to see what you're eligible for.
