Can you go at any time?

You can go any time but I suggest you go early because if you go too late and you don't get processed on time you'll get placed in overnight which means you'll get sent to a communal shelter. Which it pretty much is a big room with a ton of beds. And then you have to come back the day after. Go early don't be lazy you'll miss your work day if you are working and your children can't go to school because They have to be present. Everyone that's going to be accepted has to be present. Expect to be there late the first day. They provide very basic meals. Bring a phone and a toy for your child if you have one. You will get 10 days in an apartment while they process your case. Don't lie tell the truth prepare yourself to give all the information you have. Tax documents bills ids and the such. The more the better. Pack blankets and sheets. And be patient. Be prepared to go back after the 10days to renew your 10ndays a few times until all your info is in order
