Sheephead are easily caught off the wall on beach 11, I think its called north pier. There is a lighthouse at the end, go about halfway down to that light house. They like shiners.

I did not go fishing myself when I went there but I saw several people just pull over the side of the road and cast their lines to fish.

The best place to fish is on the opposite side of the beaches, although you can still fish on the beach side its just not encouraged around people swimming

Not too sure what u mean by she heads u can shore fish pretty much anywhere
I'm not sure that Lake Erie has she head fish, but when you drive through Presque Isle it's clearly marked where you can fish off shore. Just watch for the signs or people fishing. They're always there.
