This is a State park, I'm sure you can't ride a house with out a special permit in any State park. It would be wise to contact the park Rangers and park police before your visit. If you wanted to pass through the area with the horse in a trailer you could easily follow the roads around the park.

There plenty of places to park a truck and trailer. I saw no signs against it. My preference would be to do more in the evening or early morning. Yet it would be a great venue for it...plenty of beach.

Don't think so. It said no pets where I was. Plus their losing a lot of beach to the rising water.
You can take your horse there but would have to keep it in the trailer
