Best beach to have a cook out?

Are visitors to the park allowed to take a piece of driftwood or a stone as a souvenir from the park?

Any of the beaches are good for a cook out.

Best picnic area if just want to stop off I-90?

Any really. Pick the least crowded for the best time though

Beach 7

Perry Monument area has grills at picnic shelters. We like beach 10 because it's wider and, at times, they fly the serious kites there. Not sure about grills, unless you take your own.

Any. Beach 11 is usually crowded. The others along the cabin sites are fenced off right now so you would have to walk further. There is no access through the fenced

Beach 1 is good. Usually not as crowded as some of the others. Beach 11 if you like big crowds

I love beach 1 for everything! There are no grills that I've seen, but there is a number you can call for the park and they are super helpful!
