The American bird company will accept any birds and will offer it for adoption. My family dropped off 2 Indian ring necks and a parakeet of which all were adopted out to good homes.
Might want to call and see. I know they sell birds and boards birds while your on vacation. Not sure about donating.

They would love your donation. Age might be an issue. But i doubt it. I'm a regular here. Just show up with your cockatiel and ask for Ed the owner l. Weekends are best to find Ed
