My dad was in world war 1. After he retired he was going to hospital for medical. How far do they keep records. Is it possible I can get a copy. thanks

Hi, the best way to figure out if the McGuire VA Medical Center has any records is to reach out to our Patient Experience Center and inquire. They can be reached at 804-675-5545. There are certain rules and regulations regarding an individuals medical records.

He can sign up for a myhealthevet.com account and have access to everything online. Hope this helps

You don't have to go to DC for records...you can request them in writing and they will send them to you...google VA medical records and get the address
