How is it allowed for someone to check out 99 movies at one time? That should change. My children and I were trying to get movies and someone had 5 bags full of movies to check out. That's unfair.

It's 99 items per account. Not only movies. You could ask them to have you put in line for whatever movie you want that's currently not available. I have an account online and have placed around 60 items on hold, that are currently checked out, and the library will alert me when they become available for pick-up. I've never had any issues with how many items other people can rent out, as you can rent out the same amount as well. Just go online and put all the movies you and your kids want, and after people return them, you'll be coming out with 5 bags of movies as well.

I always thought 99 items was a tad bit too much for one person to check out also. Can you imagine carrying 99 books out of the library. That would fill up a whole trunk of a vehicle.
