The gutter guards have been keeping the leaves out, but now we have water coming behind the gutters and running down our house. I called to have someone come out and the guy has not shown up for 5 Saturdays in a row. I'm very disappointed in their warranty service, they have wasted my time for over a month!

This is a follow up to a review that I submitted. After installing new gutters on our house, our basement flooded and cost almost $4K to remediate the water and mold. Edgar Medina who is the installation manager at the Glen Burnie location initially said that they woud reimburse us for the cost of the remediation but then refused to do so. I filed a BBB complaint and they are still refusing to take responsibility for the incorrectly installed gutters. They replied to the BBB complaint by saying that the basement may have flooded due to our drain pipes even though that is pure speculation and makes no sense becuase we had never had water in the basement before they put on the gutters and had lived in the house for over a year prior to the installation. So everyone knows, there are over 3000 complaints on the BBB website against Leaf Filter and also a class action lawsuit against this company in 2020. I wish I had done more research before I hired them. They are incompetent, overpriced, and have a product that does not work. Additionally, they dont take responsibility when they make mistakes. SAVE YOUR MONEY and get your gutters cleaned twice a year. In addition to saving money, you will save the aggravation of dealing with these awful people.

We recently moved into a large house with complex and high elevation gutters. While we are DIY people, this job seemed too dangerous to do every few months. We had leaf filter installed for a hefty price. Please know that leaves and smaller debris from trees gets trapped on top of the stainless steel barrier they brag so much about. Once trapped, the material gets wet and becomes stuck to this layer. Please consider how much tree material will sit on TOP of this and become an obstacle to water clearance. Update: I called the company about this issue. Our gutters have only been for 4 months and are covered in leaves. They cleaned the leaves at no charge. The technician said they will come and clean them if we call them. This is a relief since the estimates for cleaning them were in the hundreds. I hope this is true. They were responsive and aware that our house is not an ideal house for this system.
