That "sounds" like an ear infection, but you should really request an appointment to take him in..... My female, "used to" get ear infections a lot (another tale tale sign is if their ear, or ear wax stinks). It's basically the equivalent of a baby. A baby, can only cry, and try to "grab" the area that is causing them pain, or discomfort.... Therefore, I would suggest that you seek medical attention, because an ear infection can become very painful (for a human or animal). When this would happen to my female, I would normally get 2 prescriptions to treat the issue, one was an oral antibiotic, and the other was a liquid that you had to place inside of the dogs ear (the veterinarian/technicians will go over all medications with you) However, I would advise not to do the peroxide or anything else for that matter unless a vet approves it, because I was told the same thing by many people, and thank God I didn't listen and just took her in because my dog would be deaf right now if I had.
Possible eat infection try some peroxide in ear a few drops then place a small roll that barely fits eat into each ear you put peroxide in.
