Accessible monument. Most trails are quite easy. Tons of petroglyphs to be seen carved on striking black basalt rock. The petroglyphs span a long time period and depict a large variety of content. Park is open to 4:30pm daily except for Dec 25th and Jan 1st when it is closed.

Great place to hike and meditate. An incredible amount of petroglyphs. You can see the vulcano not far away. Great for kids and families too.

Very informative. The rangers couldn't be any more helpful!

It's the west so there's going to be snakes but the will generally stay out of your way. There is a walk that is paved and leads up to the petroglyph
