True Storytime
New Mexico Attorney General Hector balderas. Does not fight for rights low-income single parents. I have raised my child for 18 years solely on my income. I have tried for many years to get my child father to pay child support. Going through Child Support Enforcement you would think that they would also help you fight for the rights of your child. My child is 19 years old. Her father owes $56,990 in back child support. And when I call the office of Child Support Enforcement they told me they had to talk to the attorney general to see if they were going to pursue the case. About 3 days later I received a call back that Hector balderas wasn't interested in collecting the back child support. Here's the kicker it's not about me it's about my child who wants to pursue college now and have dreams of her own. But thanks to the state of New MexicoWe will not be Fulfilling her dreams

Where are the real courts that follow the actual law? Are there any real courts in America? Family Court is a kangaroo court, a sick joke, a circus sideshow, a slave trade. They deny the natural rights of parents and children. They break their oath on a daily basis. Why don't family courts follow laws and why don't you care that children and families are being plundered and destroyed? I know quite a few victims if you ever decide to side with justice.

Due to the COVID 19 Pandemic our family vacation to Tokyo was cancelled. I booked the flights and hotels through Travelocity, and was having a really hard time getting in touch with anyone for refund. The company kept telling me I was only eligible for flight credit; despite conflicting information directly from the airline itself - 3rd party travel booking sites are a mess right now in the middle of this pandemic, and I was out a considerable amount of money. I utilized the arbitration services available through the NM AG's office, and Julie (who was assigned to my case) was AMAZING! She got everything squared away for me, and I ended up getting the full refund for my flights and hotel. She is an absolute GEM, and she deserves a raise! She saved me a lot of headache, countless phone calls and time waiting on hold, and gave our family so much financial peace of mind during this really difficult time. I honestly cannot thank her and the State AG enough for protecting my consumer interests. Job well done, and it is sincerely appreciated!

The short answer is "no." You SHOULD report them, but it is not worth it. The AG's office rarely actually investigates any consumer complaints. They have a history, especially under the Hector. The Office of Consumer Protection, under Stacie Espalin, has built a record and reputation for going after cases that bring political attention or financial gain. If you have political clout, you may be able to bring pressure to get more of a response than "sorry, we lack jurisdiction," but, that's about the only way.
Demand Ombudsmen do return visit. Call akso Licensing and Certification and file complaint in their state inspector teams. They are also more powerful than Ombudsmen and can fine the facility or if find many serious complaints can yank their license. Get photos and document frequency time if day, staff names you try to resolve issue to give your concerns more attention. Details important esp when file complaint but nothing done to correct problem. You can get book if regulations to see what regulation being violated.
Me too. Lots of calls with someone holding line but not speaking. Then many calls for selling cemetery and burial costs, student loans, and call yesterday, when returned a call number that person said did not phone me. Believed her. They are getting people's numbers and many I try to call back say no such number in use?? etc Get multiple calls everyday.
The law gives you three days to cancel a contract. You might file complaint with Better Business Bureau.
