Why does FedEx lie to customers saying they tried to deliver the package but no one was home for 2 days I spent 11 hours each day staring out of my living room window no one came

Lied and said I lived in security gates community and couldn't deliver my package at 5:26 and then closed the offices at 6 somebody was just being lazy n didn't want to go out in the rain

So I'm not the only one with this issue

Oh wow! I've seen all these excuses too when they don't deliver my package! I even have security cameras showing my front door and that a FedEx truck NEVER came by my house all day.

Cause they are just lazy and cant do their job. They can never find my house, they gave me the excuse that at the distribution the computer was glitching and put my package on the wrong truck. I got a txt saying your package was attempted to be delivered at 4:26 yet i was sitting in my living room right next to the door and there was no knock or anything for my package

FedEx said they tried to deliver on Sunday at 11:36am No Answer Monday at 1:57pm. Both days I was sitting on my porch at the times they said they tried to deliver. I have a Ring Doorbell with camera. They lied never came either days. I called and asked don't they leave Doortags when no one answers. The Rep said Yes. Well neither day I had a Tag in my door. Next order if FedEx is the only delivery company, then I won't order it. FEDEX SUCKS!!!

Same Issue. 2nd time refused delivery, checked security cameras and driver was here maybe 10 seconds. did not even attempt to open my gate. Think they are scared of my 12ib boston terrier....

I’ve been going through this today. Like why lie ? And it kills me that they REALLY “ act like they are so sorry” ... thn they guarantee that they’ll be there tomorrow and that’s was 3 tomorrow’s ago.

I just had this issue yesterday and they trying to tell me they get do anything about it.

Hell they fold me they delivered my package and the cant get in my building

I have important cardiac medication supposedly on the way via FedEx for like a month now. They kept my package somewhere in the Sparrows Point facility for over 10 days and then told me they tried to deliver it but I was home when they tried to deliver it. Plus, my dog would've let me know if we had visitors. It's now 2 weeks after the last status update and I have 1 cardiac pill left but no package has come yet. So... I can't get any more medication because that was a refill and I also can't go without it. So.... I'm really screwed due to the incompetence of FedEx.

Honestly, if I ever have a choice I will use USPS or UPS over fedex anytime. I keep getting delivery updates but then they go away and say pending. I don’t know how something can be in transit in a facility for 3 days.

Happening to me now. The tracker says that it arrived to this facility at 3AM, but isn't showing it out for delivery. I called the 800 number and they tell me, "it will be delivered by end of day." Then the rep pauses and says, "oh, it's not even on a truck yet...why isn't it on the truck?" I tell the guy, this is why I called you. They take my info and say they're going to contact the station and call back. 3 hours later, still no call or updates on status.

going through this right now at this moment...yesterday i spent all day waiting for my package it never came, it was supposed to be delivered today but they claim they could gain entry. there is a guar that sit in my lobby on weekends let alone i have instructions for them to call my phone if they cant get in not to mention my doorbell ring straight to my phone....FedEx better count their days

FedEx claimed to have attempted delivery two days in a row. I was home both days, also there are NO DOOR TAGS or foot prints or tire marks in the snow leading to my front door. The thing is, if I'm "not home" for their 3rd and final "attempt" at delivery then my package automatically gets sent back to the sender. I've been home the entire time and they NEVER made ANY attempts.
