We strongly recommend reservations but not required. We continue to adhere to all protocols in regards to Covid including mask wearing when not sitting at the table, 6' of spacing between the tables and the maximum number of people at any one table is 8. Hope to see you soon.
Yes most have reaervations in advance
Chowder Pot is spacious, and even at reduced capacity, they're doing well with demand. Making a reservation is a good idea - otherwise you may be waiting in your car to get a call to say your table is now ready for 0:30 to 1:00. However, Chowder Pot has become a Yogi Berra restaurant. And, it shows in the service and the quality of the food. We go to Rocky Hill to Old Saybrook Fish House, instead.
