May end up volunteering for deliveries. Decent wheels. Retired, so plenty of time. Excellent driving record. Forty-seven yrs in acute-care facilities. Need to know - is fuel/mileage covered or reimbursed ?

You can claim on income tax, doubt it is of a large enough number to do the long form. Volunteering is reward in itself..

Volunteers are not reimbursed for fuel or mileage, but keep track of mileage for federal tax deduction.

I do not know! I attended meetings there but never asked about reimbursement.
