Right. It's more about helping seniors for whom it has become difficult to go to the store and to prepare meals. MOW of Tarrant County is a fantastic organization.
You can claim on income tax, doubt it is of a large enough number to do the long form. Volunteering is reward in itself..
If you can provide contact information someone can call you about the process
Call 211 and they can provide the numbers
Not sure have to csll
We always serve turkey sausage. You'll be glad to know that our meals are planned by registered, licensed dietitians and meet the nutritional guidelines established by the U.S. Government. Meals On Wheels of Tarrant County
We do not deliver meals during times of inclement weather when roads and sidewalks are icy and create unsafe driving and walking conditions for our volunteers. However, we do not follow the school schedules. We make an independent assessment of conditions around the county and determine whether we can safely deliver meals.
Yes, Meals on Wheels volunteers deliver directly to your home.
It's easy to refer yourself or someone you know. Simply visit our website at mealsonwheels.org and click on the "Refer a Client" link at the top of the page, or call us at 817-336-0912.
There are no age or income restrictions. We serve those who are homebound for any length of time, physically or mentally unable to prepare meals for themselves, and who have no one living with them who can do it for them. If you or someone you know needs assistance, please call us at 817-336-0912 or visit our website at mealsonwheels.org
Do contact them directly for their service. What i remember from my tour, the meal that is provide is more of the main meal of the day and a significant portion size. What they provide is more than just meals. Its someone to check in and a friendly face. Do call them with your needs. They will talk you through the resources available.
You need to contact your case worker. They, in turn , will contact MOW and request the change for you
On Wednesdays, a prepaid envelope is included with the delivered meals. It is voluntary on the part of the recipoent. There are zome cases where an envelope will not be included. It depends on the recipients situation. Contact the office and they will provide all the information you require.
Hi Donald can you re-type you're phone number again? I can ask that someone call you.
