There is an area that is specifically designated for swimming. You can't swim in the rest.
They do allow swimming but sometimes they may restrict it. The last time I was there, about a month ago, they had temporarily restricted swimming as the E. coli numbers were high in the water. Unless something like that happens, you should be able to gain access to the water and swim!
