Yes. We used one and it worked out great. We didnt have larger stakes, just the little metal ones that came with our tent so we kicked some sand up around the edges to keep the wind from getting under the bottom and blowing it up.

Yes, however I recommend using longer stakes, the short metal ones don't do a good job. Especially on windy days, I've had one fly away once,after that went with plastic long stakes. Just a Lil heads up ,mine wasn't the only one flying that day either. 🤘
