Campsites we’re close but we didn’t have an issue with noise from neighbors. Bathrooms were clean and each shower has its own private room.

As others have mentioned, the sites are incredibly close together with no barrier between. Even though there are hookups, big rigs will feel very tight, especially if you have a TV. Not a good time

If you're looking for a place to spend some time with family then this is a great place to go camping, and walk on the great lakes beaches to the dunes. This place has so much to offer from exploring the dunes, swimming in the lake, and relaxing in the sun. For camping just imagine the peaceful night sky as you're laying on the ground enjoying nature, or sitting around the camp fire telling stories and roasting marshmallows. This state park has so much you can do, so give it a chance and have a blast.

Love the area. The bath houses are nice. Convenient camp store. Not far from the beach, which is fantastic. Food trucks on the beach. It has a dog friendly area on the beach, which our dogs loved.

No grates but 2 playgrounds, nature trails and good biking for the kids. There is plenty of standing water, so plan on mosquitoes for the season.
No. The beach closes at 10. I've never seen the DNR there at night but they likely check at least once... in conclusion it's definitely not Allowed™️ but you might be able to get away with it
I was just there last weekend. There was a mix of tents, pop-up campers (which we have), travel trailers, 5th wheels and motor homes. There were no Class A motorhomes present, only Class B and C. If you plan on bringing a Class A, I'd select your site VERY carefully, many aren't deep enough for a Class A. Also, no full hookups, electric only.
Not sure but they appear quite large.
The campground store usually has a special going on. 5 bundles for $25.also, there is Harding's grocery store in downtown Sawyer, Michigan. They sell firewood at $6 a bundle.
You can go online for the Michigan DNR and make reservations. You can pick a site that you want. If you just show up there might not be any available. Towards the end of the week they fill up fast.
