Yes & yes... Prices are on average$5-10 cheaper, no recreational tax for even more savings, and generally increased benefits/reward programs for medical patients... Also no waiting in line
You save in taxes. I believe recreational is over 20% where medical patients pay closer to 10%. Depending on how much your buying, you can save a lot of money. If you have to get a new recommendation though, you may spend more than you might save. Obviously, this is dependent on your state and the cost incurred to obtain a recommendation assuming you don't already have one. I'm not exact on the tax percentages, but that's close to what I believe Nevada charges based off my previous research.
