These days, imported new equipment is just as cost effective as used domestic products, but come with full warranty. I would check out brands like US Refrigeration, which has 2 year parts and labor and 5 years on the compressor, and cost even cheaper than a used True or other domestic model. Same with hot side, imported stuff has the same 1 year warranty, and at this point they have been making them so long overseas the quality complaints just aren't there. Ultimately the route is buy imported, and if your business is a success, as those imported units reach the end of their lifespan, spring for the domestic higher end. Because with used, your just gambling on them working for any extended period of time.
