Just came back Tuesday the pool at encore was open
It's alright.
Wynn is an older building and encore is the younger hipper version of opulence and fun
No shows, no clubs. Just restaurants with reservations and pools are open but not day club pool parties. But be sure to call your hotel to confirm the pool times!

They charge but if you spend $50 at either property like at restaurants, gift shops or if you're seeing a show, they will validate for you.

The pool at the Encore was not open last week. However the pool at the Wynn is available.
You might want to contact the hotel for their policies and to get the exact amounts. I know most strip hotels will not accept cash deposits and some of them charge double cash for the hold they would normally put on your credit card. The resort fees and credit card holds have gotten severly out of control, many times exceeding the cost of the actual room itself. Caesars is up to $150 a DAY hold on your card when you stsy, and when confronting them via email about their loansharking rates for parking, the response i received did no where near justifying the amount, becsuse they can NOT, it simply was a " we are doing it becsuse every other hotel is doing it, and we can so nanny nanny poo poo" type letter from a vixe president. Ridiculous resort fees, outrageous deposits and holds on credit cards thst you sometimes dont get back for weeks (would love to see the daily interest incurred by some banks when it takes 7-21 days to return an electronic deposit, but 2 seconds to decline when you
