No referral needed, just ID. But it saves a few $ each visit if you have one.
Medical cards will cost you around $200 +/- ... The discount is 20%. Vets and seniors 60+ get a 10% discount. Do the math, if it's worth it do it. Register your phone number, points add up for product.

Recreational is 21+ medical with a referral. You just pay more in taxes for recreational. That's the only difference in Nevada
Recreational and medical marijuana are both available at the shop, totally legal in the state of Nevada for anyone 21 and over with valid ID.
