Refunds are a case by case basis. Just because you didn't get a strike, doesn't entitle you to a refund of the entire game. However, if you are served raw chicken, you will be refunded the amount of that meal and offered a replacement. They will not refund the 15 bud lights you had at the bar. If another guest was being rude to you, don't expect a refund based on the actions of a person unrelated to the business. If you took a dump in the bathroom and failed to check for toilet paper before you unloaded, that dies not mean you deserve to be refunded for your bowling shoes.
