Yes you can. Depending on the water levels you will need to take out in a couple of places to get around a snag or two. There are a few shifting gravel bars that you're going to need to float as you wade. Great perch fishing as well as some large mouth bass. Just watch the season on bass.
Yes you can. The distance from the Creighton Access to the Springfield Lake Boathouse is 5.1 miles and takes approximately 2.5-3 hours to complete on a relatively 'normal' water level.
It only takes a couple of hours, not sure of the actual miles though.
