I love this park! I take the kids there and it's their favorite because it looks like a small "park" from the get go and appears to only be a walking trail. When you start walking toward the trail head theres a large patch of grass with a path mowed that leads to a creek bed that has had water in it every time we've gone. The kids catch craw dads, fish, frogs and it's got a cave as well. They stay busy for hours and today we started getting rained on so we were making our way back to the truck we saw a Blue Crane looking for food and he took off and flew away but he was huge. So ive yet to be disappointed.

This is a really beautiful place. It's a gorgeous park, that has beautiful paved walk/pathways, that are great for walking, running, walking your dog(s), biking, etc... It is out of the city, so there's a very nature-y and outdoorsy feel. There's running water that flows through...and there is also a swing set near the parking lot, where kids can get some additional wiggles out. There is something very unique about this park, and that is that there are old ruins of a building there...and it's very neat to see and explore. I highly recommend checking out this pretty park!

I'm not going to say that it's happily looked a pon. As all parks close at sundown and don't reopen until daylight or later. However,I personally have parked her overnight on a few occasions. Due to my homelessness in the past and no having anywhere to go. I felt safe and I felt out of the way. I do say though that of you are going to use a public area for rest or other means, a good rule of thumb to keep that unwritten account in good standing. You must always leave no trail of you being there. When possible always pick up and leave the area better than when you arrived. Never over stay your welcome and don't abuse your unbided permission to be there.
Starting at lost Hill Park you could go all the way to Ritter springs Park or you could go to the other direction and head all the way to I think it's Truman elementary pretty decent length either way you go I'm just not sure on mileage sorry
Unlikely, too many shallow, narrow, low spots. On heavy rain it roars and is very turbulent. Try a tube first... See what you think....
There are a couple portapotties at the Lost Hill trail head.
It's got a lot of sidewalk. And swings
No, but there is a grill and table with benches and a garbage barell. Saw deer. Paths are not steep. Amazing tour through the dry valley, saw cave
I'm not sure about the exact distance. But it's a good walk. Lots to look at. I would recommend it
