I would call the store, ask for someone in tile flooring & make sure of what you are supposed to use on the specific tile you have. Sometimes it can cause further damage if your not careful.
I highly recommend "krud kutter" for heavy cleaning as well as stain removal. For vinyl tile, soak stained area and remove after 5 minutes, longer if needed. Ceramic tile would be the same but may require a scrubbing with soft bristle brush, plastic is always safe for stone tile
