Yes. And like the others have stated you will need the pass to enter. They were able to scan mine directly from the United app. It will come in very handy throughout your trip. I definitely recommend downloading it prior to departure.
You can purchase a pass to the lounge, but you also must have a valid United boarding pass for your next flight that they will ask for and scan at the reception desk.
