As an employee I can confirm all calls to local stores are routed to an external call center. If you have questions about a curbside, in store pickup, or online order, call and have an order number ready for the agent to assist you.
Not sure why you think the local store phone number is in Sri Lanka. I've had the number stored on my phone for years and it's country/area code +1 585. In the last 18-24 months, yes they are not staffing at 100%, but the phone system has been working through an automated system for, again, years... This is true of vast majority of businesses apart from very small local establishments, in my experience.
