There are very few sites with 5 amp outlet for people with medical needs. When the B loop is open no generators can be used in C loop. There is no cellular network/wifi but there is an emergency phone available at the Cades Cove Campground Kiosk.
It is primitive camping and RV meaning there are no electric hookups anywhere. There are a couple outlets in the bathrooms but very few. We had to use solar panels on the rv to charge. Most people had generators. Also, no showers. We also had no service while there and there's no wifi.
It is pretty much an RV park so yes. I would also have to advise on getting a solar charger as a back up for when you are on hikes though.
