Park rangers need to slow their roll. They buzz through there on their golf carts like its a race track. No time for anybody to even flag them down if something was needed. Beach was beautiful & water was warm. They need more trash cans available by the beach. Their trees need cut back desperately. There's an accident waiting to happen near camper spot #3.

How can you call this a dark sky park when there are buildings in the immediate vicinity with giant flood lights that are left on all night?! My lakeside view was ruined by all the dang light shining from the other side. Also the beach is extremely small. The photos make it seem much larger but what you're seeing is the entirety of what can be actually called a beach. To top it off this camp spot was the most expensive of any camp spot I've reserved this year in colorado. But when I arrived the facilities were closed due to maintenance and the place was almost empty.
