Well.... This more than likely will be the only review youll need to read. The campspace next to the river is perfect. I stumbled on this campground after being told the other camp spots in the rockies are mostly private or club based with memberships fees and long wait lists. So i came here. Didnt have any idea everything was cash only. But it makes sense so you dont have to pay taxes on your profits. I was immediately greeted by a camper who invited me for a beer and a chat. He informed me that its a cash only campground. And that means everything. Your site. The firewood. Trash. Everything. I went up to the office which is actaully a house. And was greeted by the male owner. Explained i could leave some sort of collateral since i didnt have cash on me. Was immediately told no even tho there were plenty of spots open. With no reservations attached to them. So the camper i met offered to cover my spot. Which was greatly appreciated. (Just so the owners know. I put his envelope for repayment in the mail today) And then i got to meet the beast lady. Who said i couldnt stay and that i was harassing her tenents and that i was a moocher. Without knowing anything about me just made the initial part of my camping experience very offputting. And this lady is a beast.... Dont remember her name but just imagine a firecracker that already blew your hand off. She picks and chooses reasons to either like you or not like you. Talked about shooting someones dog. More than likely because her drunken/drugged behavior prolly startled the hell out of the animal. Came to the neighbors campground at 7am and was talking so loud i couldnt even read. Telling him that i wouldnt be paying him back. And that i was up to no good. And spoke about this for almost an hour. Then made the wise decision to start mowing down the rock path... Strange. I cant say that i would recommend paying this place a visit and if anyone has the capital and interest to buy this lady out and turn it into something great with maybe a small store. Youd prolly be hitting the rockie mountain lottery. Beware the beast.

FANTASTIC! Shade trees, stream running by it, not too big or busy, electric available, easy drive to Estes Park or Loveland, great hosts. We will go back often!!!
