Totally agree that when I order from amazon and see it comes from this facility I would say 65% of the time there is a delay. Really wish that could change because being near ann arbor I love how fast it is when it does go perfectly!
I agree 100%. There. Are thieves in the mix here. Every time I have a package coming from Brownstown is is delayed several days or disappears. Tracking just stops and that is humans not scanning packages, far to many m packages for it to be coincidence. I complained to Amazon yesterday and acted shocked. Obviously that is not genuine because it sure looks like I’m not the only one seeing this issue.
I think someone is stealing them. I always have packages come up missing when routed here. I think they are stealing or delayed cause someone wants to see what is in it. But amazon doesn't care. That's why I cancelled all my amazon services.
Brownstown do not tamper wit items! The place is unorganized and 90% of reasons for late deliveries is because the workers put the wrong labels on the pallets and we end up dropping them off in wrong places and then ur local P.O. takes it to their hub and now u wait up to 2 weeks! Most of late deliveries come from lazy Amazon packers and stagers!
This is happenong a lot lately. I have come to realize that if my orders do not get through here by the end of friday, I won't see them until monday. It is as if they do not work on the weekends. My latest order arrived here early saturday morning and has not moved since. It is supposed to be delivered by 10 pm tonight (11/6/21).
You got Gregory I have to tell you as this unit is an Sort Center What this is is Everything comes in on Big Trailers not Applince trucks It takes hours to unload some of these then if the Items are damaged in any way then they go to problem solve to fix the problem if to damaged it might need to go to the hospital to have new box taped then to be scanned in put on the Right palette to have wrapped to be sent out on other Trailers this is not like the sort to be delivered to houses that I do not know what they do I am on the job in DTW5 my orders go through there then out to places like Hamtramic before I see it
Before anyone receives their packages, packages that go to the same place are all packed into the same trailer on pallets. Before they can be loaded into trailers, they are usually stacked onto pallets that have been brought from one of the chutes, where scanners assigned to the chute will scan packages and stack and sort them. Then once it reaches a certain height limit (or the area's certified individual decides), then the pallet is closed off and wrapped up, for other associates to pull them away for staging. Then another group will finally load them into the trailer. It all depends on whether the pallets are being stacked properly, for them to be closed off, and whether there is a trailer available for them to be loaded.
